Tung Ting means “Frozen Summit” or “Icy Peak” and is the name of the mountain in Taiwan where the tea is cultivated. This lightly oxidized oolong is very silky, medium-bodied with sweet, fruity notes, and a lovely lingering aftertaste.
Ingredients: Taiwanese Oolong Tea
2 tsp (3-4 g) of tea per 8 oz 190˚ water, steep for 2-4 minutes (longer may cause bitterness). Leaves can be re-steeped.
