A steamed green tea from the Shizuoka prefecture of Japan, harvested in the early summer. It produces a rich, brothy texture, with a clean, very refreshing green aroma. Sweet flavor reminiscent of steamed veggies and seaweed, with a rounded finish.
Ingredients: Japanese Sencha Green Tea
1.5 tsp (3-4 g) of tea per 8 oz 180˚ water, steep for 2-3 minutes (longer may cause bitterness). Leaves can be re-steeped.
