An aromatic, full-bodied tea with a strong copper color, heavy and smoky flavor and a smooth, mellow aftertaste. Named for the silk road caravans that brought tea from Asia to Europe via Russia.
Ingredients: Indian Assam, Sri Lankan Ceylon, Chinese Fujian & Lapsang Souchong Teas
1 Tbsp (3-4 g) of tea per 8 oz boiled water, steep for 3-5 minutes (longer may cause bitterness). Leaves can be re-steeped.
