Regular annual pruning of tea bushes yields a bounty of cut twigs which are further cut very finely by hand and then roasted to make this refreshing, low-caffeine tea. Flavor is nutty with rich, earthy and woodsy notes.

  • 2 tsp (3-4 g) of tea per 8 oz boiled water, steep for 2-3 minutes (longer may cause bitterness). Twigs can be re-steeped.
