A new tea developed in Kagoshima. The dark steamed green leaves produce a cup that is soft, floral, and very fragrant. It is made entirely of first flush leaves, the cup is full without being heavy, sweetly floral, and has no astringency.
Ingredients: Japanese Sencha Green Tea
2 tsp (3-4 g) of tea per 8 oz 180˚ water, steep for 2-3 minutes (longer may cause bitterness). Leaves can be re-steeped.
